NHS Informatics Merseyside (IM) delivers an innovative Digital Skills Training Service offering high-quality training and support for a wide range of clinical and digital systems used across health and care services including but not limited to:

• PACO Blinx

• Rio

• Umbraco

• Microsoft Teams

• Microsoft 365 Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Microsoft 365 Apps (Forms, Sway, Planner, Loop)

In recognition of the team’s outstanding service, the training team was awarded Gold Level Training Service Accreditation (TSA) by the Skills Development Network in November 2023.

All trainers are fully qualified - holding a minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET/PTLLS) - and have completed bespoke customer service training to ensure consistently high standards. Their mission is to help health and care professionals build confidence in using digital tools to enhance patient care and improve service efficiency.

Training is available on-site or delivered virtually via Hurdle or Microsoft Teams.

Learners also benefit from access to IM Online Learning, which offers interactive courses, service specific training, and step-by-step guides, including a personalised learner dashboard.
