Working with us
What makes NHS Informatics Merseyside such a good place to work? Our people!
NHS Informatics Merseyside is a shared NHS IT service, which is hosted by Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Over the years we have spent significant time and effort engaging with our colleagues and wider stakeholders to build a successful organisation with a reputation for being warm and welcoming and this is just one of the reasons that we have so many long serving staff.
Our staff surveys regularly demonstrate that our colleagues are highly engaged and would recommend NHS Informatics Merseyside as a good place to work.
The message is clear - we are committed to valuing, supporting and developing our staff and we can only continue to support the provision of care by investing in our people.
Why work with us?
Having achieved ‘Excellence in Informatics' accreditation from the North West Skills Development Network for consistent good practice in workforce development, and being awarded the 'Staff development of the year' accolade over three consecutive years (2014, 2015, 2016), it is clear that we listen to the needs of our colleagues and put staff feedback into positive action.
We are committed to the personal and professional development of our colleagues (both through working in our services and through structured development programmes) and work proactively to support their health and wellbeing through a range of workplace policies and initiatives.
We are a friendly and listening organisation, with senior leaders who are approachable, value feedback, engage and communicate regularly with colleagues.
Making exceptional service the standard is our aim across all that we do and we measure our success by each and every customer's experience - an ethos underpinned by our values and shared across the organisation.
We are incredibly proud of the work and achievements of our colleagues and the services we deliver. This is what, in our minds, makes NHS Informatics Merseyside such a special place to work.
